Bids for the purchase of up to four
dump trucks for use with the road and bridge department were opened on January
24th as advertised and taken under advisement for further consideration.
Having
reviewed the bids and, upon the recommendation of Gary Bell, Road Supervisor, Commissioner
Hough moved and Commissioner Sader seconded to award the bid Columbia
Freightliner for the purchase of two 2009 MC 106 at a price of 67,234.00 each. Additionally, the Commission approved six
speed transmission and front frame extensions for snow plows. The motion passed unanimously.
