Bids for the purchase of two
four-wheel drive motor graders for use with the road and bridge department were
opened on April 14, 2008 as advertised and taken under advisement.
Having reviewed the bids and, upon
the recommendation of Gary Bell, Road Supervisor, Commissioner Sader moved and
Commissioner Hough seconded to award the bid to Dean Machinery
for the purchase of two Caterpiller 140M. It was determined that this was the most
advantageous bid when the trade-in and buy back amounts were factored in. The motion passed unanimously.
